Purim

Sunday, March 24, 2024
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m
918 Bathurst Street
(in the great hall upstairs)

At the Morris Winchevsky Shule (our secular Sunday school), students learn about the Jewish exile
in Persia and about Purim as a
celebration of Esther and Vashtis bravery against the authority of Ahasuerus. They explore the themes of identity and the protection offered by masks, both real and philosophical.

Join the Morris Winchevsky School (MWS) and the United Jewish Peoples Order (UJPO)-Toronto for
a Purim extravaganza.
We’ll have the Purim Shpiel (story), as told by a series of monologues, games, pizza, Hamantashn, and surprise guests. Be sure to come in costume!

All are welcome!
Bring your family and friends. So join us...in costume!
